Handling Mistakes
Everyone makes mistakes. What defines you is not the mistake, but how you respond to it.

1. Own It Quickly
If you make an error, admit it. Hiding mistakes often causes bigger problems. Quick honesty builds credibility.

2. Fix What You Can
Don’t just say sorry — act. Clean up, correct, or replace what was damaged. Action shows responsibility.

3. Learn the Lesson
Every mistake carries a lesson. Ask: What went wrong? How can I prevent it next time? Mistakes without lessons are wasted.

4. Don’t Dwell
Guilt can paralyze you. Once you’ve admitted, fixed, and learned, move on. Confidence comes from knowing you can recover, not from pretending you’re perfect.

Sidebar: The Guardian
Guardians uphold standards. When they make a mistake, they admit it and correct it without fuss. By doing so, they protect trust in the team. Guardians prove that integrity is more valuable than perfection.
